Megaworld builds first upscale residential project in Puerto Princesa, Palawan
- March 19, 2025
Philippines’ most awarded urban township developer, Megaworld, is building a 12-storey The Bellagio Palawan inside the 6-hectare Baytown Palawan township. It is the first upscale residential condo within the township.
The Bellagio Palawan will have 188 ‘smart home’ units equipped with wireless smart home systems that can be accessed remotely using a dedicated phone app. Unit sizes reach up to 109 square meters for the three-bedroom suites. All units have their own balconies and lanai.
Inspired by the “harmony of Earth and Water,” the facade of The Bellagio Palawan captures the fluidity of the waves of the sea through the use of curving horizontal elements on each floor.
“As Palawan continues to gain traction as a top global travel destination, property values are expected to appreciate. Driven by heightened demand from both overseas Filipino workers and foreign buyers seeking properties for rental income or long-term value appreciation, investing at Bellagio Palawan could definitely mean significant returns in the future.” says Ms. Maria Victoria Acosta, EVP and Managing Director, Megaworld International.
Some of the sustainability features of Bellagio Palawan are bicycle parking, low flow rate fixtures for water conservation in toilets and kitchen, occupancy sensors in hallways, and energy-efficient equipment, according to the company. It will also have its own sewage treatment plant, rainwater harvesting facility, and materials recovery facility.
The Baytown Palawan township is being developed by Megaworld and Suntrust Properties, Inc. The township’s other planned projects include more residential condominium developments, hotels, and commercial retail developments.
