An Art Exhibit for a Cause is currently featured on the 4th floor of Alliance Global Tower, which runs from March 17 to April 17. In honor of Women’s Month, this initiative seeks to highlight the remarkable contributions through the lens of art. It is located at Kapitolyo Art Space and features outstanding pieces that define the magnificence of women.
Among the featured paintings are “Mag-ina” and “Vendor” by Norma Belleza, which emphasize the Filipino women’s tenderness and strength while doing their daily chores. Eghai Roxas’ “Inner Self” and “Elusive Dream” and Marcel Antonio’s “The Judgment” have striking visual narratives and delve into the intricacies of a woman’s journey.
Sharing her thoughts on the purpose of the exhibit, Ms. Maria Victoria Acosta, Managing Director and Executive Vice President of Megaworld International said during the opening ceremony:
“Women have always been the heart of progress embodying resilience and grace while transforming communities. Ensuring their brilliance as well as struggles are celebrated through art, and so is their spirit.”
Also present during the opening ceremony was Ms. Lourdes T. Gutierrez- Alfonso, President of Megaworld Corporation, who expressed her admiration for the artists and their works, highlighting the company’s commitment to supporting initiatives that celebrate and empower women.
This initiative serves as a meaningful tribute to the profound impact of women in society. Visitors are invited to explore the exhibit and experience the power of art in honoring women’s stories.
