The majority or 66,245 of the total tourist arrivals since Feb. 10 came from the United States. Canada and South Korea came second and third with 15,024 and 14,697 arrivals, respectively. Australian (14,530), British (13,560), and Japanese (7,335) tourists came next on the list.

 

Tourism Secretary Bernadette Romulo-Puyat expressed her elation with the latest numbers, saying it is a welcome development as the country continued easing travel and border restrictions.
