#MWIHatsUnited: Megaworld International holds first-ever Mid-year Strategic Planning and Awards Night via Zoom

To ensure business continuity, Megaworld International (MWI) conducted its Mid-year Strategic Planning last June 15-18, 2020 via Zoom. This 4-day planning event helped the division to define its direction, revisit its goals and plan accordingly especially during these challenging times. Review of the past months’ performance, action plans and sales commitments for the next 6 months, territory reports and brainstorming were conducted.

Ushering everyone to the new normal and adding a first in the history of events, Megaworld International held its first virtual Awards Night last June 23, 2020 via Zoom. This was also the first awarding ceremony in the middle of the year. Truly, nothing can stop a company that is bonded by the love and unity of its employees.

The ceremony was hosted by Mr. Maq Agapito and Mr. John Peñaflor of the Training and Business Development Group. It was attended by Megaworld International SVP and Managing Director Ms. Maria Victoria M. Acosta, who delivered a very heartwarming welcome remarks to all the territory heads, group heads, MWI employees, sales network and business partners.

Riding the theme for the night, #MWIHatsUnited, everyone wore their most lovely and elegant hats as solidarity to show that MWI Community remains united even during these challenging times. 

There were several special awards given during the ceremony which aims to recognize and affirm the company’s great workers. These awards include New Reality Awards for the networks and regions who utilize technology in their marketing strategies in the midst of the pandemic, up to Humanitarian Awards for the regions who extended their help for the COVID 19-affected workers and families.

And for the real reason of the night’s ceremony, MWI also recognized the Megaworld heroes who showed continuous passion amidst the pandemic. MWI awarded the Top Marketing Associates, Marketing Managers, Marketing Directors, Country Managers and Territory Heads.

As part of the entertainment, song numbers were showcased by different representatives from various regions. And of course, the much-awaited raffle prizes were drawn! Exclusive MWI Hedgren luggages were given to 10 lucky people. Before the night ended, each group gave their sales commitment for June to December 2020. Indeed, Megaworld International rose up to the challenge of this new normal and exceeded!
