2020 was a whirlwind of different happenings and experiences. While most people are waiting for the incredibly challenged 2020 to end, it is still good to know that the spirit of Christmas was not lost.
Megaworld International’s first-ever virtual Christmas party dubbed as Maligayang Pasko: A Filipino Christmas Celebration was held via Zoom last December 12, 2020 hosted by homegrown talents JM De Guzman and Carla Labita together with SAVP Ms. Celulu Hing all from Sales Operations Group. The celebration started with a very inspiring message from Megaworld Corporation’s COO and first-ever recipient of Dr. Andrew L. Tan’s Leadership Excellence Award, Ms. Lourdes Gutierrez-Alfonso.

“The way we do business has shifted and the way we work has changed. I recognized how Megaworld International swiftly adapted to this new reality, not only you transitioned to digitalization and focused on training and skills development, you did so with renewed commitment and drive all while staying focused on Megaword’s mission.” Ms. Gutierrez-Alfonso said.

The party, of course, will not be complete without the much-awaited games. Party games remain everyone’s favorite and that doesn’t have to change even in a virtual setting. Raffle prizes including exclusive gift certificates were given away to lucky winners. Attendees with the best Christmas-inspired head ornaments were also given exclusive jackets from Megaworld International.
To cap off the party, everybody got enlivened to a special live virtual performance from Resorts World Manila’s The LOVE Project composed of singers Jasmine Fitzgerald, Julia Serad, Jon Joven, and James Uy who performed some Christmas and party songs and got everybody in the Christmas mood.
