A 10Q to Remember

Saturday, October 10, 2020, was a special day filled with music, love, and gratitude, as Megaworld International hosted 10Q, a live gratitude virtual concert via Zoom. The concert was held as a testament of Megaworld’s boundless gratitude to its core group members and international property ambassadors who tirelessly represent Megaworld on the world stage, to its industrious employees that stands as the backbone of the company, and to its loyal customers that serve as the lifeblood of the company.

The live concert was aired simultaneously via Zoom and Facebook Live. It garnered around 500 and 3.1K viewers, respectively. The attendees came from all over the world, thanks to the global reach of its online platforms. The night was made magical and wistful thanks to the talents of Resorts World Manila’s Live On-Request Virtual Entertainment (LOVE). The vocal dexterity along with the unequivocal vocal projection of Jon Joven, Jasmine Fitzgerald, Julia Serad, and James Uy brought life to the night as they serenaded the viewers with nostalgic music from the Sixties, Seventies, Eighties, Nineties, and the 2000s.
Ms. Maria Victoria Acosta, the Senior Vice President and Managing Director of Megaworld International gave a few words of gratitude to the stakeholders of Megaworld International, old and anew:

“Thank you for our sales network who have stood by Megaworld through thick and thin. Thank you for our loyal employees who have stayed on despite numerous hurdles and sacrifices. Thank you to those who became part of Megaworld but have passed on… you will be remembered. Thank you to our clients who believed in Megaworld and the vision of our Chairman and CEO, Dr. Andrew L. Tan. Thank you to our Lord God for his love and guidance. Most of all, thank you for Megaworld, for all that it is, and for all that it will become.”
Ms. Acosta’s words of gratitude resonated throughout the audience as she called for everyone to solemnly reflect on the things and individuals that they are grateful for in their lives.
The gratitude concert was greatly enjoyed by the attendees as they reveled in the music of their era. The L.O.V.E artists sang their hearts out to tunes of the Sixties, Seventies, Eighties, Nineties, and the 2000s. The songs performed throughout the night radiated the themes of Passion, Unity, Faith, Resilience, and Strength. People sang along to the music as they tripped the light fantastic.

Mr. Kingson Sian, the President, and CEO of Travellers International Hotel Group, Inc., graced the occasion and gave a few words of gratitude:
“Thank you to Megaworld International for supporting the LOVE project and providing our artists the opportunities to perform. Congratulations on your event.”

The night was filled with joy and delight as everyone is elated with all the music and dancing the encompasses five decades’ worth of pop culture. Ms. Acosta ended the night with a heartfelt remark that stayed on with the attendees long after the music ends:
“We can have happiness and contentment in the here and now if we are grateful”
A truly beautiful message that promotes happiness by being grateful for the things and individuals that we hold close to our hearts.
